Mobile visits and service area
What is mobile audiology?
Mobile audiology brings professional hearing services and portable equipment to a private home, skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, retirement community, or another appropriate setting.
Where does Hearing Onsite provide service?
The Coachella Valley is the primary mobile care region. Regularly served communities include Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Indio, La Quinta, and Coachella. Selected Riverside County, San Bernardino County, rural, and Southern California routes may also be available.
Do you provide hearing care in private homes?
Yes. Home visits are available for people aging in place, people with mobility or transportation barriers, and others who are more comfortable receiving care where they live. Call with the city or ZIP code to confirm route availability.
Can a family member or caregiver attend?
Yes. Family members and caregivers are welcome when the patient wants them involved and their participation is appropriate for the visit.
Services and hearing aids
What services may be available during an onsite visit?
Services may include comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid consultations and fittings, Real-Ear Measurement verification, hearing aid cleaning and adjustments, repairs and accessories, earwax evaluation and management, and tinnitus evaluation and counseling. The appropriate service depends on the patient, setting, and clinical need.
Can Hearing Onsite help with existing hearing aids?
Yes. Depending on the device and situation, the team may be able to help with cleaning, adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, accessories, and follow-up support. Share the manufacturer and general concern when scheduling, without sending private medical information by text or ordinary email.
Do you fit new hearing aids?
Hearing aid consultations and fittings are among the available services. Recommendations depend on the hearing evaluation, communication needs, preferences, physical abilities, listening environments, and other relevant factors.
What is Real-Ear Measurement?
Real-Ear Measurement is a verification method used to evaluate how hearing aids deliver sound in an individual ear. Hearing Onsite includes evidence-based verification when appropriate for the fitting.
Senior communities and referrals
Do you visit skilled nursing facilities?
Yes. Hearing Onsite can coordinate individual resident appointments, onsite care days, hearing aid support, and recurring service routes with skilled nursing facilities.
Do you partner with assisted living and retirement communities?
Yes. Partnership options may include individual visits, grouped community care days, recurring schedules, device-support visits, and hearing-health education.
How can a physician, care manager, or facility refer someone?
Start with the provider page or call the team. The initial inquiry should include organization and contact information only. Do not place a patient name, diagnosis, insurance information, medical record, or other protected health information in the public form or FAQ assistant.
Can staff arrange a community hearing-care day?
Yes. Facility leaders can discuss resident needs, location, scheduling, space, and the desired service model with the Hearing Onsite partnership team.
Scheduling, cost, and privacy
How do I schedule a visit?
Call or text (310) 431-9649, or email contact@hearingonsite.com. Share the city or ZIP code, care setting, and general reason for the visit. The team will confirm whether the location fits an upcoming route and explain the next step.
How much does a mobile audiology visit cost?
Pricing depends on the requested service, location, route, equipment, and whether the visit is for an individual or an organization. Contact the team for a clear estimate before scheduling.
Does Hearing Onsite accept insurance?
Coverage and billing can vary by service and plan. Contact the office with general plan information for guidance, but do not send member IDs, insurance cards, medical records, or other sensitive information through the FAQ assistant or ordinary contact forms.
Is the website FAQ assistant private?
The FAQ assistant uses a local set of business answers in the visitor's browser. It does not call an AI service, create an account, or store a transcript. Visitors should still avoid entering symptoms, diagnoses, records, insurance details, or other private health information.
Can the website answer medical questions?
No. The website and FAQ assistant provide general business information only. They do not diagnose conditions, interpret symptoms, recommend treatment, or replace a clinician. For urgent or life-threatening concerns, call 911 or seek emergency care.
Still have a business question?
Talk with the mobile care team.
For scheduling and service-area questions, call or text. Keep patient records, diagnoses, insurance identifiers, and other private health information out of ordinary messages.
